Called to Build is the Youth Harvest Seminar of the Church of the Nativity, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, organised by our Children and Youth Harvest.
Every Sunday our pews hold young people carrying real ambition — graduates waiting on a first opportunity, young professionals finding their feet, students deciding what to become. What they are short of is rarely talent. It is access, direction, and someone willing to open a door.
Called to Build is our church's answer to that. It is a day of capacity building, honest guidance and deliberate connection, where young people sit with men and women who have already built — in business, in the professions, in the trades and in ministry — and leave with more than encouragement.
The day is the beginning, not the end. Every participant joins our youth employment and mentorship programme: a register of young people ready to work, supported through the year with certification, job-ready skills, internships, placement pathways and mentors who remain in touch.
Faith is the reason. Building is the work.
“…And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.” — Nehemiah 2:18
